THE PLUS STYLE
This summer let’s celebrate the plus in your size by adding a plus to your style.
Here are some style tips that will up your style game this summer.
- Shrug it off!
Shrugs are the best way to jazz up your basic t-shirt or tank top and denim jeans outfit. The best thing about them is that they come in different shapes and sizes just like you pretty women out there. The best thing about wearing shrugs is that it visually cuts the body mass and makes you look slimmer and feel amazing. If not with tank and denims you can always pair it up with a straight or a-line dress like a t-shirt dress and a thick belt. So, rock the beach vibes with a shrug this season.
- Fit and flare or flare and fit? Well both works.
Fit and flare is an amazing way to show-off you upper half curves since this style generally fits your bust section and then flares out. This style goes for all your tops, kurtas and dresses. For example- pairing a fitted shirt or crop top with an a-line skirt or a t-shirt and palazzos or just our ready-made fit and flare dress.
Flare and fit on the other hand is an amazing way to show-off your lower half curves. In this style your tops are generally flowy and bottoms fitted, for example- wearing an a-line top with a pair of fitted denims or maybe a peplum top with a pencil skirt.
In both these styles make sure that the fitted section is not so fitted that you start to feel uncomfortable, for example pencil skirts don’t alway have to be body fitted some of them will be fitted at the hips and then will be slightly straight fit.
- Stripe it up!
Stripes play a major role when it comes to clothing it basically leads ones eyes from one point to the other while vertical stripes are bae, diagonal stripes or combination of various direction stripes is no less.
- Colour block it
Colour blocking in garments means to use contrasting blocks or panels of solid, typically bright colour with a neutral like black, brown, navy white or grey. It has many body slimming benefits, especially when paired with black. Vertically positioned panels optically make the body look slimmer and in dresses make you look taller as well. You have two options when opting for this style, either colour block your whole outfit or just buy a piece of colour blocked clothing.
But don't forget that you can rock any style if worn with confidence!
